Out of Town Patients

At Durrie Vision, we treat patients from all over the United States as well as the world. Patients have come from London, Dubai and Germany (to name a few) seeking our expertise for their vision correction procedure.

When traveling from out of town for surgery, you should expect to spend at least two nights in Kansas City. If you are scheduled for a Friday surgery, we would want to see you on Thursday for pre-operative testing and a comprehensive eye exam, Friday for surgery and Saturday morning for a post-operative visit as well.

Durrie Vision is located in a medical plaza building in close proximity to many national hotels that offer a discount to Durrie Vision patients. Several are within walking distance of our surgery center. An abundance of restaurants and shopping is within a half-mile away. Just ask any one of our staff for recommendations.

To make your stay in Kansas City even more enjoyable for you and your family, our staff can advise you of many Kansas City attractions, such as the famed Country Club Plaza which is approximately a 20 minute drive from Durrie Vision.
