The price of LASIK or another refractive procedure varies according to the type of procedure that our doctors determine is best for the patient. We are currently offering our Advanced Ocular Analysis exam with our surgeons at no-cost for those patients interested in seeing if they would be a candidate for laser vision correction and to determine the cost of their procedure.

Most companies’ open enrollment period is in the fall. This is the perfect time to come in for an evaluation to see if you are a candidate for vision correction, and then you will know for sure how much to set aside in your plan to have your surgery after the first of the year.
When considering vision correction surgery, one important aspect is the cost of the surgery. LASIK and other procedures are considered elective and not covered by insurance. The current marketplace can be confusing – why do some providers advertise a low price – isn’t it all the same? If you have done your research, you will realize that all vision correction surgery is not the same. The lower price may not include newer technology, such as the Intralase laser or the Allegretto Wave Eye Q laser. Some centers let the patient pick which laser they would like to use based on price. The newest and most advanced technology is going to be the safest, and most precise, and your surgeon should be the one preparing your treatment plan for the best results, not the patient. Think about how important your eyes are to you. Would you go to the cheapest heart surgeon for open heart surgery or pick out the surgical plan?
