Durrie named to worldwide list of Top 50 Opinion Leaders in Ophthalmology

OVERLAND PARK, KS (May 11, 2005) – Cataract & Refractive Surgery Today, an international publication for the ophthalmology industry, recently announced its “Top 50 Opinion Leaders of 2005.”  Daniel S. Durrie, MD, of Durrie Vision in Overland Park, was named to the list that included ophthalmologists from around the world.

The magazine honored the individuals for outstanding contribution and leadership in the fields of cataract and refractive surgery.  The honorees were selected based upon votes submitted by the worldwide readers of the publication.

The honor comes as Durrie vision continues to strengthen its reputation as a leader in the advancement and quality of refractive surgery.  Under Dr. Durrie’s leadership, Durrie Vision has been involved in the research and development of nearly every refractive procedure and technology in use today.
